+ Negócios – Desperdício Project

The +Negócios-Desperdício (in english +Business-Waste) aims to raise awareness of the students and academic staff to the issues of sustainability, specifically the ones related with production and consumption value chains. By working together with companies that present their related problems, this project encourages students and academic staff to work towards a solution, during a semester of work in their own curricular unit. The solution can relate to different use of wastes, new forms of distribution, change in the business model, introductions to marketing strategies or other. 

During the pilot-project, in 2020/2021, more than 120 students and 10 professors were involved.
